My Friend’s Place is a non-profit organization for homeless youth in Los Angeles. Over 40% of homeless youth in Los Angeles have been experiencing domestic violence or intimate partner violence. My Friend’s Place can assist and inspire homeless youth to build self-sufficient lives. Studies have shown that 40% of the runaway and homeless youth population identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or questioning (LGBTQ) as compared to 10% in the general population. The new brand identity for My Friend’s Place is designed with a welcoming and approachable voice along with the exuberant colors and graphics for those rejected youth.
